Virgil Stokes

I’ve been serving Jesus with my wife since 1980. It’s just been the two of us doing our best to follow His lead through mission work, Bible teaching, and pastoring churches.

Before starting Goodness Family Church, we pastored three churches and taught in Bible schools. We were also active in mission work. Then one day, God spoke clearly: “Open a fountain of my healing power in this place.” That place was Tucson, so we started a church.

Now, I serve on the board, stay faithful in prayer and continue to be involved in Mexico missions. Teaching has always been a core part of what I bring. I’m passionate about helping Christians prepare for the role God has given them.

And something funny about me? I’m still figuring out if it’s funny ha-ha or funny peculiar.
